Manitoba Possible’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce Lindsey Cooke as the new Chief Executive Officer for Manitoba Possible.

With the retirement of Dana Erickson, who led the organization for seven years, Manitoba Possible’s Selection Committee of the Board worked closely with executive search firm, Harris Leadership, on an extensive search for the organization’s new CEO.

“Lindsey is a collaborative leader with profound understanding of the disability sector,” says Jennifer Lusby, Chair of Manitoba Possible’s Board of Directors. “Her extensive experience along with an unwavering commitment to honouring the dignity and worth of all persons make her the ideal CEO for Manitoba Possible.”

Cooke joined Manitoba Possible in 2015, initially serving as Manager, Winnipeg Children’s Service Coordination, Interlake and Eastman Children’s Service Coordination, and Adult Vocational Rehabilitation, before being promoted in 2018 to Director, Provincial Services, where she has served until now.

Throughout her time at Manitoba Possible, Cooke has remained deeply committed to advancing issues important to Manitobans with disabilities, collaborating with Children’s Coalition, Disability Matters Vote, and Barrier-Free Manitoba, as well as serving as Board Vice President of Inclusion Winnipeg.

Prior to joining Manitoba Possible, Cooke worked as Administrative Manager of Autism Programs at St. Amant. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Minnesota and a Health Services Leadership and Management Certificate from Red River College.

Cooke began her role as CEO on July 4, 2023.
